 A Tribunal Support Client says...

“I just want to share my experience and a review on the Premium support package offered by Bruce Gordon the founder and tenancy advocate with the Tenant Support Group.”Tanya

I came across the tenancy support group when I needed help with my tenancy issues. I was extremely unsure of everything at that stage. Bruce immediately became like a safe haven for me and helped me so much.

Going through a tenancy dispute has been incredibly stressful, and having someone knowledgeable to guide me through the process has made a huge difference. Bruce helped me understand the steps involved, review documents and evidence, and prepare for the Tenancy Tribunal process.

What I appreciated most was having someone who understands tenancy law and could explain things clearly when everything felt overwhelming. The structured advice and support gave me much more confidence in navigating the situation.

If you're dealing with a tenancy issue and feel unsure about the process, having guidance like this can be really helpful.”

More Support When You Need It

Most tenancy issues can be resolved with the free guidance provided through our Tenant Support Group Facebook community. Our volunteers help thousands of New Zealand renters understand their rights and deal with everyday tenancy problems.

For tenants needing more individual assistance, we now offer TSG Tenant Advocacy — personalised Advocacy Plans designed around your particular circumstances.

Your Tenancy Problem. Your Advocacy Plan.

No two tenancy disputes are exactly alike, so we don't believe everyone should have to purchase the same support package.

Whether you're dealing with a difficult landlord, property manager, rent arrears, repairs, unlawful notices, or an upcoming Tenancy Tribunal hearing, we'll assess your situation and determine what assistance we can realistically provide.

You don't need to know the law or decide which package you need. Simply tell us what's happening.

How It Works

1. Tell Us Your Story

Complete our Request Tenant Advocacy form. Explain what's happening, what outcome you're hoping for, and any important deadlines.

2. We Assess Your Situation

We'll review the information, identify the key issues and evidence needed, and ask any necessary follow-up questions.

3. Receive Your Personal Advocacy Plan

If we can assist, we'll explain what TSG proposes to do, what outcomes may realistically be achievable, the expected work involved and your fixed price.

4. You Decide

There's no obligation to proceed. If you accept your Advocacy Plan, we'll explain the payment arrangements and get started.

Fair Pricing and Flexible Payments

Your Advocacy Plan is priced according to the work required, not simply the type of tenancy problem you're experiencing.

You'll know the agreed price and what's included before committing.

For plans over $100, weekly or monthly payment arrangements may be available, helping make individual advocacy more accessible.

What Can TSG Help With?

Depending on your circumstances, your Advocacy Plan may include:

  • Reviewing tenancy agreements, notices, correspondence and evidence.
  • Explaining relevant tenancy rights and practical options.
  • Preparing letters and responses to landlords or property managers.
  • Assisting with Tenancy Tribunal applications, responses and evidence preparation.
  • Helping organise documents, chronologies and submissions.
  • Preparing you for Tribunal proceedings.
  • Communicating with your landlord or property manager under an appropriate Authority to Act.
  • Ongoing case guidance within the agreed scope of your plan.

Every plan is individually assessed. We don't promise particular Tribunal outcomes or include unnecessary services.

Free Help Is Still Available

Our Facebook Tenant Support Group continues to provide free community guidance.

We also offer our Free Tribunal Support Kit, containing useful templates, checklists and guidance for tenants preparing their own cases.

Ready to Get Help?

Tell us what's happening and what you'd like to achieve. We'll assess your enquiry and explain the next steps.

REQUEST TENANT ADVOCACY

No obligation. No need to choose a package. Just tell us your story.

Website implementation: Link the final REQUEST TENANT ADVOCACY call to your existing Get Help → Request Tenant Advocacy form. Keep the Free Tribunal Support Kit linked separately.

I would also replace the old $0/$49/$199 graphic with a four-step graphic showing Tell Us → We Assess → Your Plan → You Decide. That makes the change immediately obvious to visitors.

Next steps, in order: publish this replacement homepage section, remove the old graphic and package links, audit the remaining website for obsolete offers (particularly the unexplained $299), and then resume our AdvocacyOS foundational decisions at F02–F05.

Generate a boxed graphic showing a rental house with a FOR RENT sign and the text 'NZ Tenancy Support Group (Tenants Only!)'. Use a centre-weighted composition. Style it with rounded corners, a thin clean border, and a soft drop shadow. Match the proportions of approximately 350 by 230 pixels.

A safe, supportive, and fiercely pro‑tenant community with thousands of members across Aotearoa. Our Facebook group is where tenants come together to share experiences, ask questions, get fast help, and stay informed about their rights.

We keep the space tightly moderated, evidence‑based, and focused on protecting tenants — not landlords, not property managers, not industry interests.
